Curator & Founding Sage 


Dr. Betty Moon built her career as a senior executive in financial services and technology, helping leaders and organizations navigate complex change. She led teams, built businesses, and worked with individual clients and global organizations.

Today, she devotes her time to select executive coaching engagements, advisory board work, and The Sage Hub—a digital space where lived experience becomes practical guidance.


Betty curates The Sage Hub and writes on reinvention, purpose, and career design.

John Burhoe has built a broad career in financial services and wealth management, working across leadership, product development, sales and relationship management. His experience spans both building businesses and supporting the people responsible for carrying them forward. He currently leads insurance partnerships at Luma Financial Technologies and engages in select consulting projects.


As a Sage, John brings a thoughtful, plain-spoken perspective shaped by years of real decisions, real tradeoffs, and the clarity that comes with time and lessons learned.

James Klasa

Financial Services Executive & Wealth Strategist


James Klasa has more than 30 years of experience in financial services, spanning asset management, advisor training, and senior leadership roles. He focuses on financial planning and education to help people make confident decisions and thrive. Jim currently serves as Regional President at First Financial Bank – Yellow Cardinal Advisors.


Jim writes about mindset, performance, change, and helping people turn their goals into practical next steps. 


Bob Moran

Plastics Engineer & Technical Marketing Manager


Over three decades in plastics manufacturing, Bob’s path spanned project engineering, quality control, technical marketing, business development, and leadership—helping bring useful, reliable products to life. A Six Sigma Black Belt, he built a career founded on practical problem-solving, clear communication, and results. 

Now retired, Bob is an avid skier and golf enthusiast.


Bob contributes practical wisdom on career pivots , learning from setbacks, and recognizing opportunity when it appears.

Over many years as a leader in the financial services industry, Bill earned a reputation for building trust with clients and colleagues.  Throughout his career, he partnered across teams and organizations to strengthen outcomes and culture.  

Today, Bill focuses on nonprofit boards, governance, and hands-on volunteer work, finding purpose in service and community.

Randy Wright

Retired Minister & Writer


Dr. Randy Wright is a retired pastor and former chaplain whose writing is shaped by decades of walking with people through seasons of change, loss, and new beginnings.  After ten years serving residents in a continuing care retirement community in South Carolina, he and his wife, Diana, now call that same place home.  

Randy is a musician, painter, avid traveler, and in earlier years trained extensively in the Korean martial art Tang Soo Do.  


Randy writes "Lessons from The Home", an ongoing series of pocket-sized reflections from daily life -  ordinary moments that reveal courage, kindness, and grace.
